Nominations

Officers and Board Members of UFCW Local 1059 will be chosen in an election to be held July 18, 2008. Nominations for Local 1059 Officers will be held at special membership meetings on July 3, 2008 at 7:00 am and 7:00 pm at the following locations:
Columbus - UFCW Local 1059, 4150 E. Main St.
Nelsonville - Inn at Hocking College, 15770 SR 691
Piketon - Comfort Inn, 7525 US Rt. 23
Mt. Gilead - AMVets Post 87, 7825 St. Rt. 61N
Zanesville - Ramada Hotel, 4645 E Pike St.
Findlay - Country Hearth Inn, 1020 Interstate Ct.
Defiance - Holiday Inn Express, 1148 Hotel Dr.
Fremont - Days Inn, 3701 N. St. Rt. 53
The officers to be elected are President, Secretary-Treasurer, Recorder, and 24 (numerically designated for nomination and election purposes) Vice-Presidents. The term of office will be 1/1/2009 though 12/31/2011. The nomination will be governed by Article VII and Article XII of teh Local Union Bylaws, and Article 35 of the International Constitution.
Notice of times and places of the July 18, 2008 election will be mailed to each member at a later date.
